This is any bodily activity that maintains or promotes physical fitness, overall health or wellness. It is an ancient therapeutic philosophy that applies to most situations in life; 'practice makes perfect'

Caution
  • Too much exercise is bad for the wellbeing


  • Effects of over-exercising include:


        -    Muscle damage


        -    Aches and Pains


        -    Heart problems


        -    Kidney problems and dark (or reddish) urine


        -    Joint problems including Arthritis


        -    Missing menstrual periods in females


        -    Sleeplessness and irritability



  • Exercise can be addictive, and can also be damaging to the heart and muscles


  • It can cost a lot in time and money

  • Weight Management


  • Physical ability


  • Improve immunity


  • Improve sleep hygiene


  • Stress relief


  • Social interaction promotion

  • Perform exercises in moderation


  • Exercise alone will not treat diseases; discuss symptoms with your healthcare giver
