Love

Background

Humans have used chemicals to enhance their pleasure since the beginning. Their choice of stimulation varies through generations, cultures and geographical locations. Alcohol, tobacco and caffeine can be classed as recreational drugs but they are not usually included in the discussions since they are not against the law in many communities. In fact, they are often regarded as a necessary accompaniment for many social gatherings.

Many people start to take these drugs to provide pleasure, or to improve their life in some way. However, constant use will lead to addiction, health problems and social dysfunction. Most of these drugs are illegal in many countries so their use will eventually lead to crime. Large organisations get involved with the recreational drug trade and a lot of profit is their reward. These organisations ensure a free and constant flow of the drugs to the consumer and as their back accounts grow, the health of the consumer diminishes.

Impact on General Wellbeing

The regular use of these drugs is likely to lead to addictions. The effect on your health may not be immediately visible, but there is enough proof that it is not good for the well-being.
